Outdoor walking therapy for women
Being outside in nature has proven health and wellbeing benefits – daylight can enhance mood, improve sleep and improve brain function. Walking therapy also has many benefits as physical exercise can reduce stress and anxiety and improve mood by lowering cortisol – the stress hormone.
Walking side by side can help to build a strong therapeutic connection as it can feel less intimidating than being face to face.
If you are female and local to Bournemouth and Poole I can offer 1 hour walking therapy sessions (40 mins walking with 10 mins either side to meet and end the session). We will have an initial call as always then decide on a pre-planned route either forest or beach based whichever feels safe and comfortable for you.
